While we’re all cozy and spending extra time with our favorite people (hopefully with unlimited snacks and zero homework 💁‍♂️), we just wanted to say:

WE MISS OUR STUDENTS! 🐾

Even Punxsutawney Phil showed up holding a sign that says: 👉 “Please don’t blame me!” 😂

We hope everyone is enjoying this time together building forts, reading books, mastering the art of pajama-all-day, and making memories that are way more fun than math homework! 📚😉

The ice delayed planning and shipped items, so the Neon Glow Dance for Friday has been canceled. Thank you so much for your understanding.

Our fourth grade team wants to welcome you to February. Where winter isn’t done, spring isn’t here, and school days somehow feel longer. ❄️😄
We are ready for the chaos, the learning, and all the Valentine vibes.

Students across 4th grade were serving WOW ✨

Our students worked hard with their Words of the Week, and the brick & mortar vocabulary activity was officially a fan favorite! Kids built stories and sentences with their WOW words, teamed up with classmates, and flexed those big academic brains 💪🧠

Learning in action! 🦊🐢 Some of our third graders researched animal adaptations and presented their posters to teach their classmates all about how animals survive and thrive.

We are excited to recognize Sango Elementary’s newest Beta Club members. These fifth-grade students have shown dedication, responsibility, and effort, and we are proud to celebrate their achievement! More photos to come ❤️

City Saver Fundraiser
On Friday, January 16, we kicked off our annual City Saver fundraiser. Funds raised will support student incentives, rewards, and programs. As an added bonus, City Saver has transitioned from a physical book to a convenient mobile app, making it easier than ever to enjoy discounts at many retail locations throughout Clarksville.

The cost is $20, and students can earn prizes by participating. Please consider sharing this opportunity with family and friends—your support makes a big difference!

PTO Glow Dance
Sango’s PTO will be hosting a Glow Dance on Friday, February 6. Details are below:

- Time: 5:30–7:30 PM
- Cost: $8 for the first child and one adult; $5 for each additional child
- Who: Sango Elementary students and families only
- Admission: All attendees must have a ticket
- Dress: Wear your brightest colors and glow gear!

PTO could really use your help to make this event a success. With enough volunteers, everyone will have an opportunity to serve and enjoy the dance. Please click the image to the right to sign up.

Huge shoutout to our Sango Elementary PTO for the trail mix. It was the trail that led to happiness! 🥰🍎 Crunch, munch, repeat… and so many sweet, happy faces to prove it! You rock!

Nothing like a little friendly competition to motivate some of our 4th grade readers! 📚💪 Mrs. Adams made it a challenge between her two classes. BOTH classes crushed their reading class goal and earned extra recess 👏🙌
One class just edged out the other with the higher average… so donuts were involved 🍩😄
And of course, our SRO was invited to help celebrate the win! We love seeing hard work, teamwork, and a little “healthy” competition in action 💛📖
