Austin Peay’s Celebration of Women in Athletics is an event to recognize the growth of women’s sports and raise funds for an endowment.

Each year, Women in Athletics will focus specifically on one sport and/or milestone. In addition, the goal is to celebrate women’s achievements in athletics and raise money for the women’s athletic programs at APSU.

For 2013 Austin Peay’s Celebration of Women in Athletics will spotlight the 40th anniversary of Title IX, featuring several weekend events.
