Forrester-Davis Development Center is committed to continuously enhancing high-quality learning environments for the children and families we serve. To support ongoing program improvement efforts, we are seeking a qualified Teacher to provide coaching, mentoring, and instructional support to early intervention staff in order to strengthen classroom practices and promote positive child outcomes. This is a part-time summer position averaging 15-20 hours per week and is ideal for teachers seeking supplemental income or retired educators interested in supporting early childhood program quality and staff development.

✨Job Requirements:
• Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field and 5 years teaching experience preferred
• Pass background checks & pre-employment drug screen

✨Job duties will include:
• Provide coaching and mentoring to early intervention staff to enhance teacher-child interactions and support high-quality learning environments as defined by CLASS (Classroom Assessment Scoring System)
• Model effective classroom interactions that support emotional support, classroom organization, and instructional support
• Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate lessons in alignment with curriculum guidelines for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old (Rotating between 9 different classrooms)
• Provide instructional support through concept development, fostering children’s analysis and reasoning, engaging in feedback loops, and modeling and supporting high-quality language.

Dates: June & July 2026

Times: 15-20 hours per week (weekdays & daytime hours, flexible with days)

Forrester Davis Development Center is seeking a dependable employee who resides in Logan County to join our team.

This is a full time position with benefits and includes:

•Being picked up and transported on an FDDC bus, the bus route starts in Logan County. Assisting children and adults on the bus as a Bus Aide during morning and afternoon routes.
•Serving as a Program Floater during midday hours, assisting in both children's and adult programs as needed.

Public notice is hereby given this 10th day of April, 2026 that Forrester-Davis Development Center, Inc.
of 1000 Buchanan St., Clarksville, AR 72830-2252 has made application for funds through Section 49 U.S.C. Section 5310 for the purchase of the following type of passenger transportation
vehicle:1-23’ Medium Cutaway Bus, w/Lift (12/2 WC) Non-CDL, 1-22’ Small Cutaway w/o Lift (13-Pass.).

This vehicle will be used primarily for the following purposes: Transporting adults and children with disabilities to and from Day Habilitation services.

Purchase of the above vehicle is considered essential to the efficient operation of this organization in provision of public transportation services to seniors and individuals with disabilities. There is no intent to infringe upon, or compete with, existing public or private transit operators, including Section 5307, urban public transit operators and Section 5311, rural public transit operators.
Forrester-Davis Development Center, Inc. is requesting a vehicle that is not compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. However, Forrester-Davis Development Center, Inc. Does meet the “equivalency of service” requirements to individuals with disabilities in the community.
