We are beyond excited and counting down the days until we get our new Eagles! 🦅❤️ New adventures, new memories, and lots of excitement ahead. We can’t wait to welcome them home!

On Thursday, Ms. Hutchens 7th grade Eagle scholars conducted a recruitment fair where visitors assumed the role of an eighteenth century immigrant to the English colonies. Scholars attempted to recruit visitors to either New England, the Middle Colonies, or the Southern Colonies by showcasing the specific historical facts about their respective locations. At the end, visitors indicated on a ballot which region they would choose.

This week is Fire Safety week at NEMS! As part of our focus on safety, we want to stress the importance of practicing what to do if you ever encounter a fire in your home. If a fire occurs in your home, GET OUT, STAY OUT, and CALL FOR HELP. Never go back inside for anything or anyone!
