How do you organize your books?
My kids suggested widest to skinniest, tallest to shortest, and just pile them why should it matter. 😂 Can you tell which one is my chaos gremlin?

I have said I was going to make task boards for over a year so they can gain some independence. They are able to complete the task, the problem is they really struggle with remembering what they are supposed to do, staying on task and following it through to the end without verbal reminders and a support person. So having a visual that they eill have to physically interact with and move will help their brains to follow through, hopefully. Each girl got one for morning and bedtime routines. I'm going to edit a few. I used a set I found for free online. They are excited and we have gone over that when they get up they check their boards to see what they need to do. Then after each task they come and move it over to the done side and go to the next. Adapting means learning to work our brains with the tools we are given and that makes us stronger! I'm also super proud of them for being open minded to this and supportive of each other. Sometimes seeing all your differences and difficulties in yourself van make you feel isolated, they are actively working to see they are more than that and that adaptations like this aren't something to be embarrassed by but something to be proud of.

This is an example of what we can work on if it fits your needs. Adult versions can also be made.

What's on your meal plan this week?
I have dinner planned so far, I haven't made it to working breakfast or lunch.
This is our dinner menu. I usually only cook 5 nights because the kids will eat the leftovers till they are gone for lunch and dinner so it saves me a few nights.
Egg roll in a bowl with sesame rice
Teriyaki meatballs with roasted cabbage steaks and carrots
Chicken and dumplings
Smothered turkey burgers with roasted smashed potatoes and garlicky green beans
Roasted corn and pablano chowder with southwest salad
