We are thrilled to celebrate Mrs. Kay Rye for being selected as the K12 Virtual Distinguished Educator for the 2025–2026 school year by the Clarksville Montgomery County Education Association!

Mrs. Rye was recognized and presented with a plaque on April 9 at the annual Distinguished Educators’ Banquet sponsored by CMCEA. This honor reflects the dedication, passion, and care she brings to students and education every single day.

Virtual School is incredibly lucky to have Mrs. Rye on our team, and we are so happy to see others recognize just how amazing she is!

Congratulations Mrs. Rye!!
Well deserved! πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ‘

πŸ“ You might be a 3rd grade virtual student if you get to learn life skills and watch your teacher get a little messy making homemade strawberry jam!

It is strawberry season here in Clarksville, and our 3rd graders are diving into a hands-on lesson about how people spend their time and money. Through this unit, students are discovering that the choices we make, whether it is how we spend or how we give, say a lot about who we are.

We spent time together learning how to make fresh strawberry jam from scratch. Students were able to see the process step by step and experience the joy of giving their time while learning something meaningful they can share with others.

Next up is taste testing! πŸ˜‹ Stay tuned for their reactions. We have a feeling it is going to be sweet!

πŸ‘‘ Happy Principal’s Day to our very own Prince Parker! πŸ‘‘

We are so lucky to have a Prince-ipal who leads with heart, humor, and just the right amount of royal patience πŸ‘

Whether he’s keeping our Virtual crew sailing smoothly, making us laugh on the toughest days, or being a great sport when we lovingly pick on him, he truly makes our school a place we love to be.

Thank you for being such a great leader and an even better human. Your kingdom (aka all of us!) appreciates you more than you know.

Long live Prince-ipal Parker! πŸ‘‘πŸš€

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Mrs. Felicia Brown was presented with the Teacher of Honor award for Virtual School this afternoon!

This recognition is incredibly special because it is organized by the CMCSS Student Advisory Board and the teacher is selected by our high school student body. Being selected by the students themselves is the ultimate testament to the connection, dedication, and impact Mrs. Brown brings to her digital classroom every single day.

Even through a screen, Mrs. Brown makes every student feel seen, heard, and supported. She truly embodies what it means to lead with heart and excellence in a virtual environment.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate one of our very own, Jordan Medina Coleman (Class of 2027), for representing our school with excellence this past weekend!

Jordan participated in the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority’s 41st Debutante Cotillion on Saturday and was honored with the title of Debutante Queen. This is an outstanding achievement that reflects her hard work, character, and dedication.

Jordan represented our school with grace, confidence, and poise, and we could not be more proud of the way she carried herself throughout this special event. She is a shining example of what it means to be a Voyager!

Please join us in congratulating Jordan on this incredible accomplishment! πŸ‘‘πŸ‘
