DEI is not about hiring unqualified people, it's about hiring qualified people from all backgrounds.

This state had a chance to do so much. People only see red or blue over people who truly have our best interests at heart. Sure a lot of politicians talk a big game, but who did you really see out there doing the work of the people? I try so hard to see beyond a person's party how about you? So next time you show up to a poll to vote put party affiliation aside and vote for the person who you know is going to do right by you. If you are republican and you know a Democrat is your best choice then vote Democrat that doesn't mean you are now a Democrat it just means you are voting for the right choice, the applies to Democrats. It starts locally and then funnels up. Example these darn vouchers I have seen so many of my teacher friends against but then look at who is in the senate seat voting for it, then follow the money, then ask yourself how much did you see them before or after they ran. Now you will that you were blinded by party affiliation over a that person character.
