So happy to celebrate another athlete's commitment! I'm so immensely blessed to do what I do, and proud of athletes like Kindell Day who work day in and day out to make their dream a reality. So proud of you and excited to see what you accomplish at Eastern Oregon!

If you are looking for more support in the college recruiting process, you can set up a time for us to connect through the link in my bio!

Volleyball is a game of mistakes. College coaches don't expect you to have a perfect game when they come to watch you play.

They want to see how you bounce back after making a mistake and how it affects your attitude! These are the moments when you can really show them what you're made of.

Looking for more FREE resources to help guide you in your recruiting process? My free guide on how to begin your process and the link to my podcast are both in my bio! DMs are always open. 🫶

The number one regret I hear from athletes further along in their recruiting process who are still looking for an opportunity is that why did not respond to schools when they had the chance!

You can always say no to schools down the road if they are not a good fit. What you can't do is travel back in time to unburn those bridges. Keep your options open and respond to everyone who takes the time to reach out to you!

Due to recent commitments (🥳) I have opened up some one-on-one support opportunities in the 2027/2028 classes!

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, unsure of what to do next, or just want someone in your corner who knows this process inside and out…I would love to connect with you.

This is a zero pressure, zero commitment call. Seriously. It's a chance for me to get to know you and your athlete, hear about their goals, and walk you through what it could look like to work together!

If it feels like a fit, amazing. If not, we still get the opportunity to connect.

Comment CALL below and I’ll send you the link to set it up! Let’s find your athlete their place 🤍

Welcome to the "we'll be in touch" club. AKA the "keep us updated" club. AKA the "we're all confused" club.

Were they actually interested?
Were they just trying not to hurt your feelings?
What do we do next?

So many families find their way into these circumstances around this time every year, and it can be so confusing to navigate. So here would be my advice for you if you find yourselves in these clubs:

1. Do whatever was asked of you.

if the coach told you to send them more film, do it. If they asked to to follow up via email, send that email! Don't leave any tasks undone.

2. Follow up and ask for feedback.

If the coach said they would follow up with you, that doesn't mean that you wait for them until they do. Give them a week or two, then open up the door to receive some feedback!

3. Stay consistent.

It might take more than one email or text to get a response. That doesn't mean that they've necessarily lost interest! Coaches are busy, mistakes happen.

If you are confused in next steps to take in your college recruiting process, shoot me a DM and I'd love to help you figure out what comes next!

Having a great highlight reel is such an important part of the recruiting process! This is usually a coach's first impression of you, so we want to make it a good one! We want to keep the reel brief, but also make sure to include every skill an athlete would need to play your position at the college level. Usually around 2 minutes is the perfect length!

Follow along for more tips to find your opportunity to play volleyball at the next level. 💕

Our sport is so wrapped up in hyper-specialization, when in reality, versatility is a STRENGTH.

Your ability to play more than one position makes you even more marketable to college coaches. Anything can happen in sports. You may be thrown into a position other than what you were recruited for. Master as many skills as you can!

There is so much competition out there for every roster spot at the college level. This is why it is so important to be aware of who you are and what coaches are looking for.

The great part? None of these red flags are outside of your control. They all are a piece of the story that you can tell college coaches.

If you need help figuring out how to tell your story, my DMs are open!
