This Masterclass has been a long time coming! I can’t tell you how many times I actually thought that I had overcome Mom-Guilt, only to find out there’s a WHOLE ‘NOTHER LEVEL to this thang!!!🤣🤦🏾‍♀️

Mom-Guilt shows up in so many different ways and I’m convinced that a lot of it is related to our own Emotional Intelligence.

I am developing this Masterclass, not as one who has perfected it, but one who is currently navigating the many layers of Mom-Guilt. My goal is to help other moms recognize the way our emotional intelligence and well-being affects how we go about the most important work weBus-E Womenver do - raising our children and loving them through their different stages of life.

In every story of victory there is a villain. Sometimes, my friend, your role in someone’s story of victory is the villain no matter how hard you try to avoid it. 🤷🏾‍♀️

This weekend was such a blessing. Our overall theme was “Simplify, Simply, Simplify!”

Our first session started with listening to this song and writing about either the moment we fell in love with Jesus or an impactful moment where we experienced the love of Jesus.

Sharing those precious moments with each other was the perfect way to Regroup and put our focus back where it belongs… on the Lord!

One bonus to hosting the Bus-E Women Retreats is that I get to be creative!!

As I’m reading through the article we’re assigned to read in preparation of doing some autobiographical writing for class, I’m grinning and thanking God for this Seminary experience!🥹

MTS is an ecumenical school so we are assigned reading by, in class with, and taught by people of so many different religious backgrounds but WITH a common goal - to fulfill the Great Commission.

As I’m reading, I just happened to look down at the tag on my tea bag and look at what it says!!!

Yes, tea, this life is indeed a gift and I am truly grateful to God for it!
