Over the past several days, RGB LED lighting has been installed on the front façade of the school. These lights will allow Providence to shine a little brighter during special moments in the life of our community — and it seemed only fitting that their debut come during a weekend of such excitement, pride, and celebration.

For our Seniors especially, I hope these lights serve as a reminder of the impact you have had on this campus and the joy we feel as we prepare to celebrate your accomplishments. Graduation is more than a ceremony; it is the culmination of years of growth, friendships, faith, perseverance, and memories that will always connect you to Our Lady’s school.

I also want to extend a special thank you to Toby Wright, Eric Wermuth, and the “Monday Night”volunteer crew for the many hours they dedicated to making this project possible. Their generosity and service continue to improve our campus in ways both big and small.

As you drive onto campus in the evenings this weekend, take a moment to enjoy the lights and the excitement surrounding this special time of year. Please keep our Seniors, their families, and all those preparing for graduation in your prayers.

Due to the weather, our makeup Placement Test has been rescheduled for Saturday, Jan. 18. Please call the school next week to register so that we can ensure we have enough tests and proctors.

TIMING: Students need to arrive by 8:45 a.m. and enter the building through the Chapel/Student entrance. Testing should conclude between 12:15 p.m. and 12:30 p.m.

WHAT TO BRING:
- Two #2 pencils
- $15 check made payable to "Providence High School"

NEXT STEPS:
Please remember that all incoming students must take the placement exam. Registration for the upcoming school year is on February 5 & 6.

If you have visited campus in the past few days you have undoubtedly noticed all of the construction traffic on campus. I am pleased to report that our partners at MAC Construction and The Motz Group are tirelessly working on our facility upgrade project inside Murphy Stadium. Their expertise and workmanship are second to none.

The track surface is currently being completely replaced and the field surface on Sartini Field will be replaced in the coming weeks. The rendering for the new turf field is shown below.

All should be ready for a renewed rivalry game in Week one of the 2025 Football campaign.

“Blue Pride” runs deep in our community. As an institution, we stand on the shoulders and accomplishments of those that have come before us.

This historic win was for Head Coaches - Bernie Roeckers, “Spider” Murphy, Bill Kleier, Elmer Britton, Gene Sartini, and Larry Denison.

This historic win was for the teams of ‘73 and ‘93.

This historic win was for every senior player that gave it their all in their final season.

This historic win was for God, for Country, and for Providence!

Well done Coach Daniel McDonald! Providence football is the 1A - 2024 State Champs!
