We couldn’t be more proud of all the hard work, dedication, and teamwork that led to such an amazing start. Sloane and Wait for Me started their partnership with a Championship in the Short Stirrup Hunters & Kinsley made her showing debut with Girl Scout securing the championship in the Walk Trot division!We can’t wait to see what the rest of the season has in store for these young riders ! ❤️

GCS had a great week at World Equestrian Center Spring Opener, with blue ribbons and tricolors filling the banner all week long. 🏆

Highlights include:

🎩 NOTORIOUS — 3x Champion - in the 3’3” Green Hunters with Greg Crolick, as well as in the Age Group Equitation & 3’3” Junior Hunters with owner Delaney Svensson. “Norton” & Delaney also won the Jr/AO Hunter Classic & the IHSA Hunt Seat Medal.

🐠 DIARONIMO — Champion with three class wins in the 1.10 Junior Jumpers with owner Vella Mulrenin their first time showing at this height.

🐢 DONATELLO — Champion in the 3’6” Junior Hunters & 2nd in the USHJA Jump Seat Medal with Ava Crolick, plus a class win in the 3’6” Performance with Greg Crolick for owners Addie & Amanda King.

🪄 MAGIC STAR — Champion in the 3’6” Green Hunters with Greg Crolick for owner Carole Chase.

📡 SATELLITE — Winner in the 1.35 Jumpers and 4th in the Futures Prix with Greg Crolick for owner Renaud Farm.

🪕 SALT CREEK — Two 2nd place finishes in the 1.10 Junior Jumpers with Ava Crolick. Thanks to owner Havens Schatt for the ride on the incredible Banjo!

🇫🇷 GALLI D’ARANCHERE — 3x class winner in the 3’6” Performance Hunters with Greg Crolick, plus winner of the NHS Medal and two 2nd place finishes in the 3’6” Junior Hunters with Ava Crolick. We are so proud of Allie for her first time showing in the hunter & the equitation ring!

To top it all off, Team GCS brought home the win at Trivia Night at The Paddock Club on Saturday night. 🧠✨

We are so proud of our pony riders for an incredible finish to the winter circuit during WEF 11 & 12! 💪✨

⚡️ WRAY ACRES ELECTRA & Paulina Penna delivered beautiful rounds in the Large Green & Large Pony divisions, earning multiple top placings and consistent scores in the 80s. “Ellie” also secured Champion in the Large Greens during WEF 11, qualifying for Pony Finals!

🌸 NASTURTIUM & Faith Rahaim had their best rounds to date in the Small Pony division! During WEF 11, they earned an 87 and a 3rd place finish in a large group. They followed it up at WEF 12 with 3rd and 4th place finishes, scoring 83.5 and 82.5!

🌊 BOCA’S BLUE NILE & Sloane Christy stepped up to the Cross Rail division and earned two 3rd-place finishes in a big group. Sloane & “Lucy” have made incredible progress this circuit—we couldn’t be prouder!

❤️ HEART TO FORGET had a fantastic finish in the Medium Pony division, earning multiple ribbons and consistent scores in the 80s!

Greg Crolick hints at the idea of his daughter Ava Crolick one day taking over the reins of the 14-year-old Chappy.

“I still want to keep him for the bigger derbies, because that’s his forte, but I think he will become even more famous having Ava riding him around and do better than me,” said Greg with a laugh. “It’s nice to watch what you’ve produced and created, and then see it go and also be a star in another ring with your child.”

What a week for Amy Mulrenin’s KINGWEIS WV! Greg & “Ken” had top placings in both WEF 11 International Derbies, finishing 12th in Friday’s $15k Hunt & Go and 4th in Saturday’s $50k two round derby. Ken went 2nd in the order in the finale derby and earned top scores of 93 & 96 to win the first round! We are so proud of his consistency all circuit. Endless thank you to our amazing owners, sponsors & hard working team for making weeks like this possible!
