Monday is Mother & Son day for Sienna and Maddox.

Maddox comes to his lesson straight from school. His boots got left behind today so, like the Saturday crew, he went stirrupless today.

They both have multiple lesson each week and it shows!

Scott Stradley and his new horse Best Be Makin Bank aka Tucker.

Tucker comes to us from the outstanding breeding program of Stacey Colgan.

This talented three year old gelding is sired by The Offshore Account and we currently cannot recall the dams side, hopefully Scott will chime in here. ( Dam is by RL Best of Sudden 🤩) But he’s bred to be a heck of a show horse, as seen in this photo with Scott at the helm today.

If he looks this cool with his adult amateur rider this early in training we just can’t wait to see him continue to develop into all of his potential.

It’s so great when our behind the scenes team members like farriers, veterinarians, nutritionalist, dentists and chiropractors are willing spend time educating our young riders.

We had Lisa Hancock at the barn today and she spent some time explaining to a lesson student, Izzy, about hoof care and hoof function. Even explaining to her how the frog functions as a heart, in a way.

Izzy and her mom Lisa both got to try their hand at running the nippers too!

Thank you, Lisa. What you do is a very important part of keeping things running around here and we all enjoy when you share that extra knowledge!

Leah and Lilly have come such a long way from when we started.

When we met them loping wasn’t even an option, much less a controlled lope staying on a consistent path around the arena.

Fear has been conquered! Confidence is rising! Knowledge is being gained!

What a fun journey this is to be a part of.
