Congratulations on your tests last night, PKSA Clarkston students! You all did great!

Thank you to Master Gronlund for judging our tests and letting us know how we can continue to become better martial artists!

And thank you so much to our Leadership Team who were there to assist last night, as well as over the last several weeks and all the time. They give back to our students continually, help them to become the best they can be, and exemplify a Black Belt Spirit all the time regardless of their rank!

What an incredible day yesterday! PKSA Karate’s Dan Testing and Recertifications for August 2026 were terrific, from the Black Belt Test, to the Black Belt Recerts, to the Masters Recerting on Friday as well!

PKSA Clarkston had four students test - two for 1st Degree, one for 3rd Degree, and one for 4th Degree!

They have all prepared for months, have continued to show up and do the work this entire time, and have helped other students prepare for their tests and recerts as well! They are all dedicated martial artists and great people, and I’m very proud of all of them!!

We also had six Black Belts recertify yesterday too, completing an additional step towards their own future tests to go to 2nd and 3rd Degree Black Belt!!

And, one of our PKSA Clarkston students was awarded a Best of Test Medal!! This student is always exceptional, and he brought everything he had and more to his test yesterday!
