Everest is pleased to welcome the international students of the generation of 2026-2027! Arrival weekend at Everest is full of activities for families and students. From receiving schedules to organizing lockers, logging into Chromebook, uniform fittings, and an opening Mass, the weekend is full of excitement, nerves, and anticipation. The adjustment of the first month requires patience for the students and families alike, but they know that it is worth it to have the life-changing Everest experience.

Everest Collegiate High School is pleased to announce that Coach Daniel Webster will be coaching the varsity baseball team beginning in Spring 2027. Coach Webster comes to Everest with extensive coaching experience in varsity baseball. Coach Webster will be meeting with EC baseball athletes next week.

Campus was busy on Friday morning as students and families returned to campus to prepare for the first day of school on Monday. Freshman and new high school students participated in orientation activities, learning expectations and getting to know one another. EC students received locker assignments and dropped off books. The academy building was full of students practicing locker combinations, meeting teachers, sampling food from Everest's new food service provider, and catching up with friends. Have a great year, Mountaineers!

Everest's faculty and staff returned for a week of school-year preparations this week. Beginning each day with Mass, the days blended meetings to prepare for the year with personal work time to prepare classrooms for students. In its 35th year, the school continues to grow and flourish while remaining true to its founding mission and charism.

Fall sports are underway! Soccer kicks things off tomorrow with their home opener at EC! Come out and support the Mountaineers at 7 P.M.!

The annual alumni soccer game went to extra time with a tied game at 1-1. The varsity team pulled ahead, but the alumni answered with a last second goal to make the final score 2-2. It was great to see alumni back on the soccer field. EC soccer's home opener is Thursday at 7 P.M.!

Everest cross country runners worked hard over the summer months, accumulating miles. This year's team camp was held locally with the team completing workouts in Independence Oaks, Clintonwood Park, and on local roads. The team's first meet is Saturday, August 22, at the Happy Acres Invite.

EC fall athletes gathered for a traditional beginning of the season Mass today. Fr. Thomas led the students in a reflection on St. Maximilian Kolbe on the saint's feast day. Father invited students to imitate the saint's generous self-giving.
