What a wonderful first week of school! 🌿

One of the highlights was discovering monarch caterpillars and taking time to notice all the little creatures buzzing, crawling, and fluttering around us. There is something so special about experiencing the abundance of late summer together, with so many bugs, plants, colors, and tiny discoveries just waiting to be noticed. What a beautiful way to begin a new school year!

Today we celebrated four beautiful years of growing, learning, and exploring together. What started as a little dream has grown into something far more meaningful than we could have imagined.

We are so incredibly grateful for every child who has explored with us, every family who has trusted us, every teacher who has poured their heart into our programs, and everyone who has cheered us on along the way.

Thank you for being part of the Little Garden School story. We can’t wait for all the adventures to come! 🌿

With just two weeks until the start of the 2026–2027 school year, we’re excited to introduce this years team behind Little Garden School! 🌿

This last Friday we spent the day together, sharing ideas, learning from one another, and preparing for the year ahead. More than anything, it was a beautiful reminder that this team is deeply aligned in the way they see and care for children. Each person brings different gifts and experiences, yet they all share the same commitment to honoring childhood with patience, wonder, and respect.

We are so grateful for this incredible group of educators and can’t wait for you to get to know them. The year ahead is sure to be a special one!l

Celebrate 4 years of Little Garden School with us!

Join us for a special Nature Playgroup on Friday, August 14, from 9:00–11:00 AM as we celebrate four wonderful years of learning, exploring, and growing together.

We'll have:
🫧 Giant bubbles
💎 Gemstone hunting
💐 Pick-your-own bouquet from the Little Garden School garden
🌿 Plenty of time for nature play, exploration, and making new friends

This event is free, and all ages are welcome! Whether you've been part of LGS from the beginning or are joining us for the first time, we'd love to celebrate with you.

It’s hard to believe that next week’s camp will wrap up our summer lineup!

What an incredible summer it’s been. From foraging and bees to photography, archery, garden science, and plenty of water and sensory play, we’ve made so many wonderful memories.

Thank you to all the families who joined us and to our incredible team for making this one of our best summers yet. We can’t wait for one final week of camp, then it will soon be time to welcome everyone back for another wonderful season of classes!

Due to a last minute opening, Little Garden School is looking for a Lead Nature Preschool Facilitator to join our team for the upcoming school year.

We're looking for someone who is:
• A strong communicator
• A confident leader who can lead a preschool class independently
• Creative and able to plan engaging, hands on learning experiences
• Kind, patient, and able to build positive relationships with children and families
• Organized, dependable, and adaptable
• Passionate about outdoor, child centered education

Position Details
• Part time, approximately 10 to 15 hours per week
• Monday and Wednesday mornings starting this August
• Located near Clarkson, Kentucky
• Experience working with children is required ideally in a professional setting
• For the right candidate, there is an opportunity to bring one child, ages 3 to 6, to attend the program while you work for a discounted tuition rate
