A REFLECTION ON MY BUSY SEASON
I can’t believe we are 10 days away from the start of the 32nd Annual MS Delta Tennessee Williams Festival.
There is always so much to do and last year, I almost had a nervous breakdown.
The stress and trauma of deadlines and expectations and unkind, unsupportive people just really knocked the wind out of my sail.
You know, it seems that the naysayers and knit pickers always seem to have the loudest, cruelest, longest-lasting voice.
But the great thing is that when I got back up, rested a little and processed the whole situation and year, I made a decision.
I will do my best to never allow myself to feel that kind of stress and trauma again. I will deal with it differently or remove it from my life.
God says that we should put on the full armour of God as we go out into the world each day, and I try to do that.
I rest and think and pray. A lot.
I also believe that if God is with me, then who can be against me.
God has a plan for my life. He has planted a vision in my heart and mind for a future, and I work toward that every day.
He has placed me in every situation I have ever found myself to be in. He holds me in the palm of his hand. His fingerprints are all over me so I am protected, and I know that I am special because he loves me and provides for me every single day.
What a Mighty God I serve ❤️
Maybe someone who reads this needs to hear this or maybe I just needed to share it…
To make it clear in my own mind who I am, what I am, and why I am the person I have become today.
There is purpose in my life. There is direction in my life.
And there is lots and lots of love and peace in my life.
It was a lovely weekend with family and friends. Now onward and upward we go through this wonderful life we have been given.
Thank you Lord. I am so incredibly blessed 🙌💗🌟🎉
