BIG NEWS FOR COAHOMA COUNTY 🎉

Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center has been awarded $1.9 million in the first round of the Mississippi Rural Health Transformation Program, announced this week by Governor Tate Reeves.

Three projects. One mission — better care, closer to home:

✅ $917,166 to modernize IT and clinical technology, including bringing The Women's Clinic onto secure hospital infrastructure
✅ $834,750 for the Delta Maternal-Newborn Access Preservation and Modernization Initiative
✅ $212,674 to launch the Delta Cardiovascular Connectivity Network

Grants like these don't just happen. They are earned. This award reflects the vision, discipline, and hard work of NWMRMC's administration and the dedicated staff who show up every single day for our neighbors.

Crossroads Economic Partnership is proud to be a partner in this work. A strong hospital means a stronger community, a stronger workforce, and a stronger future for the Mississippi Delta.

Congratulations to Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. We are grateful, and we are just getting started. 💙
