One of our teachers was working on the letter “B” and helping students name words that began with the letter. As she was listing words…ball, baby, boy… A 2 year old boy looked up and said, “be quiet”.

A huge thank you to all the wonderful grandparents who joined us for Grandparents Day at Little Sunshine! 💛 Your love, wisdom, and support mean so much to our children and our community. Seeing the joy on the children’s faces as they shared this special day with you was truly heartwarming.

We are so grateful for the memories made today and for the important role you play in your grandchildren’s lives. 💕

🌱 Little Hands, Big Garden Dreams! 🌞

This week at Little Sunshine Childcare Center, our curious little learners have been getting their hands dirty—in the best way! 👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

We explored the wonderful world of plants—discovering how seeds grow, what they need to thrive, and why taking care of nature is so important. With wide eyes and excited hearts, each child planted their very own seedling to take care of and watch grow. 🌿

Through hands-on fun, we talked about:
✨ The parts of a plant (roots, stem, leaves, flowers)
🌞 What plants need to grow (sunlight, soil, water, and love!)
🌻 Patience, responsibility, and the joy of watching something grow

Our tiny gardeners were so proud to fill their pots with soil, gently tuck in their seeds, and give them their first drink of water. 🪴

🍀✨ Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with Fun & Learning! ✨🍀

Today was all about green, giggles, and growing minds! We had a blast celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a mix of literacy activities, festive treats, and creative crafts! 📚🎨🎉

💚 We dived into engaging St. Patrick’s Day stories and activities that made learning extra fun.
💚 We snacked on green Oreos, Jello, and juice—because what’s a celebration without a little sweetness? 🍪🥤
💚 Our little artists got creative with fun St. Paddy’s-themed arts and crafts, making their own lucky masterpieces!

🎉 Celebrate Dr. Seuss Week with Us!

Dear Parents,

We’re excited to celebrate Dr. Seuss Week with fun-themed dress-up days inspired by his beloved books!

Here’s our schedule:

📘 Tuesday – Wacky Hair Day (Thing 1 & Thing 2)
Let your child’s hair go wild! Color it, spike it, or style it as silly as possible — just like Thing 1 & Thing 2.

🧦 Wednesday – Crazy Socks Day (Fox in Socks)
Rock the most outrageous, colorful socks you can find, inspired by Fox in Socks!

🐠 Thursday – Wear 2 or 3 of Something (One Fish Two Fish)
Get creative! Wear two hats, three necklaces, or anything that comes in pairs or trios, just like the fish in the story.

💚 Friday – Wear Green or Yellow (Green Eggs and Ham)
End the week dressed in green or yellow as we celebrate Green Eggs and Ham!

We can’t wait to see all the Seuss-tastic outfits and share this whimsical week with your little ones.
