This 1-day course gives students the proper foundation for shooting shoulder fired weapons. This foundation begins with learning basic firearm safety, rifle shooting fundamentals, range etiquette and safety. Students will also learn to zero their rifle, managing recoil, basic ballistics, ready positions, loading, clearing stoppages, understanding hold over, and quick target acquisition.

This 1-day course is all about stress and survival. This course begins with students learning defensive handgun skills in live fire drills and then puts learned defensive handgun skills to the test with force-on-force scenarios that also force students to make decisions based on self-defense laws. Other topics covered in this course include engaging moving targets, shooting under stress, concealed carrying, equipment selection, drawing from concealment, retention shooting, shooting on the move, and weapon retention. Students will develop a warrior’s mindset and learn to become survivors. Students attending this course will also receive a Deltac Defender T-shirt.

The course cost is $85, but it can be bundled with the Enhanced Carry Permit Course for a 25% discount.

This 8-hour course consists of classroom and shooting range instruction. Students will discuss self-defense laws, state firearm laws, civil laws & liability and critically analyze their application in real self-defense incidents. Other topics covered include Interacting with law enforcement, equipment selection, firearm safety, handgun shooting fundamentals and much more! We also notarize all required forms, and each student receives a Barrel Blok dry fire training tool with attendance to the course.

The cost is $85 and we also offer handgun rentals, or the option to pay in 2-50% deposits. Students can also bundle the permit course with our Handgun Defender course for a 25% discount and put the knowledge learned in the permit course to use in force-on-force scenarios and learn defense handgun shooting skills in the Handgun Defender Course.
