What a beautiful way to prepare for the first day!

This evening, our W.A. Higgins family came together to Chalk the Walk and cover our campus in prayer as we prepare to welcome our scholars and staff back for a brand-new school year.

From encouraging words written on the sidewalks to prayers spoken over our students, staff, classrooms, hallways, and campus, we are entering this year with expectation, love, and purpose.

Every message left behind is a reminder to our scholars that You are loved, You are capable, You belong here, and we are expecting GREAT things!

Thank you to every family member, staff, student, and community supporter who joined us. The chalk may eventually wash away, but the prayers, encouragement, and love covering W.A. Higgins will remain.

Tomorrow, we officially step into A Different World( Season 2) and we’re ready! ❤️🤍💙

We can’t hardly wait to see our scholars on Monday. But before the buses and cars pull up to 1749 Chestnut, we want to be sure you remember that we are, “A Different World,” but the same rules from last season still apply.

Registration will not be available during the first three days of school.

If your child still needs to be registered for the 2026-2027 school year, please use the link for your child’s school below to schedule an appointment for Thursday, August 13 or Friday, August 14.
