Mrs. Hawkins’ 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 students at Liberty Middle School learned the rules of 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗹, also known as 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘁. ⚾

This fun game is passed down in many places and can have different names and rules. In this version, one student hits the ball, fielders try to catch it, and if they do not catch it, they roll the ball to try to hit the bat on the ground.

Liberty Middle School custodian 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲 even joined in the fun! 😊

🇺🇸 Liberty Middle School’s 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 sixth graders are getting ready for America’s 𝟮𝟱𝟬𝘁𝗵 birthday!

After several classroom projects, studies, and readings about 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆, students tie-dyed T-shirts for this summer’s Fourth of July Semiquincentennial celebration. Each hand-designed shirt will help them remember this special moment in history. ❤️🤍💙
