The Georgia Cotillion in Metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia, is owned and directed by Alice W Stephens. It was established in 1995 and it is an etiquette course for students in 5th through 8th grades. The classes are taught in various event facilities and clubs in and around the Atlanta area. The course includes instructions in Introductions, Conversational Etiquette, Thank You Notes, Table Manners, La

dies and Gentlemen Manners, Phone Etiquette, Personal Grooming, Receiving Lines and much more. The Fall Season Classes are offered in October and the Winter Season Classes are held in January and February. The enrollment for Fall Classes begins in April and closes in June. The enrollment for Winter classes begins in August and closes in October. Enrollment is an even number between young ladies and young gentlemen. There is a minimum of thirty students in a class and a maximum of 60 students in a class. The idea of the etiquette classes is to give children social skills and tools that can be used for the rest of their lives in order to build confidence and to help others feel comfortable around them. The cotillion places great importance on establishing an engaging and fun atmosphere during class time.

The Georgia Cotillion is offering classes this 2020-21 school year to students in fifth grades all over Metropolitan Atlanta. We believe it is vital and imperative that our children understand the value of decency and respect for each person in this world. This is an exciting time of year as we started 5th grade Cotillion classes for several chapters this week!! Tonight, we hosted the young ladies and young gentleman of the Tritt chapter. Everyone looked so nice as each child learned all about introductions, conversations, receiving lines, thank you notes, and of course, the box step dance.

The Georgia Cotillion is signing up students now for the winter classes. Fall classes begin in East Cobb on Tuesday, October 4th at 4:00 and 7:00 with Trittt Elementary and Fellowship Christian School. We are looking forward to another great season and preparing for our Winter Season with Buckhead students and more students in East Cobb.
