Experience: This is my eighth year working as a tutor. I have experience both as a private tutor and working in a tutoring center tutoring grades preK-12. I have taught kindergarten, first, and fourth grades in a NJ public school. Education:

It is important for me to teach each of my student's by focusing on the whole child. This includes their learning style, likes/dislikes, and strengths/weaknesses. I feel it is important to pay very close attention to each student's disposition and feelings. This helps me to connect with the student and lead them to working toward their full potential. I believe that all students deserve to be guided to the love of learning. I discover what my students interests are and use that knowledge to tailor my instruction in order to help them find their own passion for learning. It is amazing to see the smile on a student's face when they finally understand a concept, read their first chapter book, write a story they are proud of, and/or score an A on a test.
