Way to go Damon! Love to see our History majors getting some great internships! Thanks Warren County Historical Society!
Good morning!
The Warren County Historical Society utilizes Warrengives donations to fund the summer internship program. The interns provide a much-needed skill-set that enables the organization to complete many preservation projects that require special attention. This year's local college students will focus on inventorying several of the collections, completing the HARC grant requirements, creating and converting YouTube videos with historic integrity, scanning images from the Personal and Stoke Photograph Collections, and assisting in the preparation and implementation of Warren County History Camp.
The historical society is pleased to welcome back Jillian Busby and Damon Navaroli. Jillian is a recent graduate of Edinboro University with a BA in Anthropology. Jillian also has a strong interest in Women’s Studies and Museum Ethics. Damon has just completed his sophomore year at Clarion University with a major in history.
Recently accepted into the internship program are Zoey Reynolds, Kelsey Pratt, and Karlie Blodien. Zoey has just completed her sophomore year at Edinboro University with a major in Strategic Communication, Kelsey is currently pursuing a communication major with a concentration in digital media at Clarion University, and Karlie is pursuing a History Degree in Museum Studies from Jamestown Community College as well as interning at the Fenton History Center in Jamestown, New York, for the last three semesters.
The Warren County Historical Society internships are greatly dependent on funding from Warrengives and the board of directors, staff, and volunteers would very much appreciate your support today!
