Fourteen teams across the 3 brackets took to the floor to dodge, dip and dive as part of SHIFT Happens annual Dodge for a Cause event held Friday night at Jefferson Gymnasium. Tiffany Larson, advisor for the high school-age group, offered thanks to Webster City Rotary for partnering on the event. .....

Come and support SHIFT Happens tonight and watch KYL Staff and family members play Dodgeball! It should be interesting! It starts at 6pm at the Middle School! And, remember "Don't Fear the Library!"

Some details to help answer FAQs👇
1️⃣Yes, you can still form a team
➡️ 8-10 players. $5/ player.
2️⃣Adults can ONLY play in the combo bracket, but youth can play in either the middle or high school brackets (depending on grade level).
3️⃣To play, individuals MUST have a signed waiver form (youth & adults)🖋.
4️⃣Registration opens at 5:30pm (Middle School Commons Area). Event will start at approximately ⏰6pm in 📍Jeff Gym.
5️⃣To help set-up brackets, at least 1 member of your team can check your team in (but would be helpful to have all of your signed individual forms) between 5:30pm-5:55pm.
➡️Middle School bracket will start 1st, so combo teams can check in closer to 6pm. Due to last minute registrations, we can't give you an exact timeline. Please be patient with the process.
6️⃣There will be rules/agreements for dodgeball/event available. Final say goes to the refs. Please be kind/respectful & have fun. Avoid the 🤨poor sportsmanship.
7️⃣Concession stand will be open. Loose meat sandwiches & chips, candy and drinks will be available to purchase.
8️⃣The youth have a raffle, silent auction, & door prizes taking place tonight. We appreciate the sponsors/businesses for helping make that happen.
9️⃣There will be prizes for the winning team in each of the 3 brackets.

This year 💲 raised from on 📆3/4 will be used to purchase items for the WCCSD school buildings 📚🧦🧴🧼for various reasons. Although schools are given money, they are still in need. Schools provide notebooks, pencils, clothes, socks & shoes, food, sanitary/hygiene products, and much more to students who might need them throughout the year. We wanted to raise money to support school staff by replenishing their stock of "wish list" items they provide to youth in need. Thanks for rallying with us, & !💜💙💛⚫
