Before this padding ever reaches the field, there's a lot happening on our production floor.

From the detailed layout to the finished pieces, every part of the process matters.

For SportsGraphics salesperson Todd Lovelace, getting back to his alma mater is always a little special.

Recently, we were able to complete a dugout padding and netting renovation, and are in process of rewrapping their backstop pads.

Todd stopped by to check out the finished project with UNI Softball Coach Ryan Jacobs.

We love seeing projects come together!

Before a gym wall pad gets its graphics, before it goes on the wall, and before it becomes part of the finished gymnasium — it starts right here in our wood room.

Every wall is different. Outlets, electrical boxes, alarms and other obstacles have to be accounted for before the pad is built.

Our CNC equipment precisely cuts those areas into the wood backing, creating a clean, accurate fit around existing electrical boxes and other wall features.

It may look like a simple cutout, but this is where precision matters.

Because a great-looking wall pad isn't just about what's printed on the surface. It's about everything underneath it being built correctly.

A flat wall graphic can make an impact. But when you want something with a little more depth, dimension and sophistication, our custom 3mm Polymetal Signs offer a premium alternative.

At SportsGraphics, we design and precision-cut each sign to create a custom piece that fits your space and your brand. We then apply a premium graphic decal to the face, creating a sharp, finished look.

And for an even more elevated presentation, we can install the signs using stand-offs, creating separation from the wall and allowing the sign to cast a natural shadow behind it.

That combination of depth, dimension and clean graphics gives your logo a presence that a traditional flat graphic simply can't provide.

Perfect for school entrances, athletic facilities, offices, lobbies and other high-visibility spaces.

The best part of the job? The people we meet along the way.

Our sales team spends a lot of time on the road visiting schools and athletic facilities across the country. And while the goal may be to measure a project, build a relationship and eventually put some great products on the field, the people we meet along the way are what make it special.

This week, SportsGraphics salesman Todd Lovelace was at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville to measure the softball stadium for an upcoming padding project. While there, he had the opportunity to meet with SIUE Head Softball Coach Ben Sorden.

Coach Sorden took Todd on a tour of the facilities, and the two spent time talking about softball, coaching and the industry they both love.

That's one of the things we appreciate most about what we do. Our sales team gets to meet some incredible people who are passionate about their schools, their teams and their sports.

We'll be back at SIUE after Fall Ball to manufacture and install new outfield and baseline padding.

And we'll be looking forward to seeing Coach Sorden again.

Thanks for the hospitality, Coach!
