Join us for Boots in the Barn in Malvern! 🐮

BEEF PRODUCERS! 🐮 Join us for a four-session program at the Lakin Community Center on Nov. 17, 24 and Dec. 1, 8. Each session will begin with a meal at 5:30 p.m. Presentations will begin at 6:00 p.m.

The four-part series is designed to teach producers about the basics of beef herd management including herd health and nutrition, calving, farm, feedlot, & pasture management, and more! Our main focus of this program is to provide an open atmosphere where participants to come, learn, and ask questions of our experts.

You may choose how many sessions you want to attend!
💵 $30 per session, or $100 for all four sessions.

We are looking forward to partnering with the Clarinda - Lied Public Library for the Cooking for One or Two program on Monday evening!

This month we have partnered with Page County ISU Extension and Outreach to offer a program on Cooking for One or Two people on Monday September 21st at 6:30 pm.

Registration is required and there is a $5.00 fee.

One and two-person households are the fastest-growing segment of the population. Learn to use MyPlate for meal planning and unpack our toolbox of tips for planning, shopping, and preparing well-balanced meals.

Caregivers can participate in Powerful Tools for Caregivers, an evidence-based program that provides practical skills for managing stress, improving communication, and maintaining personal well-being.
