Clarendon High School is a nationally recognized and accredited comprehensive public high school located in Clarendon, Arkansas, United States. It is one of two public high schools in Monroe County, Arkansas and the only high school administered by the Clarendon-Holly Grove School District. The school provides secondary education in grades 7 through 12 to students in the communities of Clarendon,

Holly Grove, Brinkley, Ragtown, Pine City, Monroe, Blackton, and several other rural communities located in Monroe County. Academics
The assumed course of study follows the Smart Core curriculum developed by the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE), which requires students complete at least 24 units prior to graduation. Students may engage in regular (core and career focus) coursework and exams and may select Advanced Placement (AP) courses and exams with the opportunity to receive college credit. Clarendon High School is accredited by the ADE and receives Title I federal funding. Extracurricular activities
The Clarendon mascot and athletic emblem is the Lion with school colors of red and white. Athletics
The Clarendon Lions participate in various interscholastic activities in the 2A Classification within the 2A Region 6 Conference as administered by the Arkansas Activities Association. The Lions school athletic activities include football, basketball (boys / girls), baseball, softball, cross country (boys / girls), track (boys / girls), and cheer.

Scrimmage game update: Lions first time being on the field since last year and first time being outside for a week did really well. Played up a class class for a scrimmage and lost 26-0. Had some good plays on both sides. Defense held their own against a really good 3A team. Proud of the boys. Very few penalties and no quit in them. This game doesn’t count, but next week does. Encourage our boys that they played hard. They are learning a new system and have a new coach. When we win the boys win.. when we lost, me Coach Donaldson takes the blame and I want that because it makes me coach these boys better!! Pray for Big Perk, he hurt his shoulder and pray for William Wise, he hurt his knee. We start over Sunday with film and work. I’m proud of these boys!! .
