A birthday celebration fit for our Blessed Mother!

On Tuesday, our Northstar family joyfully celebrated the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary…Mary’s birthday!

Our students brought flowers to Mary, prayed together, sang songs and entrusted their hearts and intentions to her loving care. 🤍

As students of Notre Dame, “Our Lady,” Mary holds a special place in our school community as our patroness.

What a beautiful gift it is to grow up learning not only about Mary, but to love her, pray with her, and turn to her as our Mother.

May we always follow Mary’s example of saying “yes” to God and, like her, lead others closer to Jesus. 🕊️🤍💐

✨ The tiniest of our future saints have all arrived! & they’re bringing all the JOY✨

Our halls are officially filled with smiling faces, eager hearts, and so much excitement for a brand-new school year! From our littlest learners in ECE all the way to our eighth graders, we are so blessed to have our entire school family together under one roof.

We’re ready to learn, grow, pray, and become the saints God is calling us to be!! We’re SO excited for an amazing year ahead! ⭐️💙

What a joy to kick off the year together! Our 6th grade families gathered for a wonderful evening hosted by the Peterson Family, where we welcomed new families, caught up with old friends, and swapped stories from summer. We were blessed to have Father Mark join us and connect with our parents. A special thank you to the Barnes Family and Across the Board catering for the amazing food that brought us all to the table. Grateful for this community and the year ahead. Go North Stars! 🌟💙💛

Our North Stars kicked off the volleyball season in style! We were blessed to have Father Mark join us courtside to cheer on our girls. Our 5/6 grade team played with grit and heart right down to the final point, and our 7/8 grade team served up a win to open the season strong. A heartfelt thank you to our coaches for their dedication to these girls, and to the parent volunteers who kept our concessions running all night long. We are so proud of these student athletes and the way they represent Notre Dame on and off the court. Go North Stars! 🏐💙💛

Ms. Ruddy’s kindergarten class finished their habitat unit and dove even deeper into the ocean habitat with a special guest (Ms. Ruddy’s fiancé) who taught them all about the most thrilling animals in the ocean! 🌊

Our little learners discovered different types of sharks, how they survive in their habitats, and even got to see a real-life tiny dogfish shark! The students practiced their writing skills by creating their own thoughtful questions to ask our guest expert, and they loved getting their answers firsthand. ✏️💙

They wrapped up the afternoon with a fun game of Sharks and Minnows and a story about a boy who gets mistaken as a shark. What an unforgettable day of learning, laughter, and adventure!

The end of the year in kindergarten is always FIN-tastic🦈!!
