The Academy of Business & Finance program is an interdisciplinary curriculum designed for students in grades 10-12 to explore the world of business. The program is designed to connect students with the world of financial services, business related careers, and prepare them for two and four year college business degree programs. The National Academy Foundation (NAF) is a leader in the movement to prepare young people for college and career success. For nearly 30 years, NAF has refined a proven educational model which includes industry-focused curricula and work-based learning experience. The NAF curriculum is developed by industry and educational experts and widely recognized as leading educational reform. Students are provided with the following opportunities:

•Preparation for college and work
•Interesting courses and teachers
•Hands-on projects that matter
•Summer and school-year internships
•Practical experiences in the business world
•A caring learning community

Congratulations to Ally Korn and Arden Jalal for getting the customer service representative position during our mock interview simulation! The mock interview provides students with a safe environment to build communication skills and help gain confidence for real interviews.

Through donations of canned food for our Clarence Food Pantry Mrs. Hartmann had raised the most and earned the pleasure to dress up as a turkey in school. The Academy of Business and Finance would like to wish everyone a happy break! From our family to yours, happy Thanksgiving!

Business Academy members who were enrolled in Teamship completed the ToastMasters youth leadership course and were awarded a certificate of completion. Big thank you to Clarence Toastmasters for coming out and helping our students with their speaking and presentation skills! NAF

The Academy Teamship class has the opportunity to work with Clarence Toastmasters every Tuesday and Thursday for four weeks. This is a great way to help students better their public speaking, and they will finish these sessions with a Toastmasters certificate. NAF Clarence Toastmasters
