If you are a parent or caregiver of a child aged 0-3 years old, and are looking to learn practical parenting strategies while also connecting with other parents & caregivers, please consider registering for our "First Years First" program, which will be on Thursday mornings at the Clarence Public Library starting September 10th.

A huge thanks to Three Sisters Farm LLC for hosting our first ever "Fun on the Farm" community meet-up this past Saturday --- which was focused on bringing together families who may be new to the Town of Clarence and Clarence Central School District.

It was a perfect day, and so wonderful to see the many families who attended enjoy some time in nature and with each other.

A big thanks also to the Town of Clarence Youth Bureau for all of their volunteers and support, as well as John Brinkman and the Porch Pickers for providing outstanding musical accompaniment for the event!

October is Dyslexia Awareness Month. We are pleased to have WNY Reading Specialist Stacey Pellicano with us at the Clarence Public Library on Thursday, October 1st at 6:30 pm for a presentation on dyslexia. Some of the topics will include promoting an understanding of dyslexia, risk factors, challenging stigmas, and ensuring equitable support for those with dyslexia. This presentation is for educators and advocates as well as parents and students. Please call the Clarence Public Library at 716-741-2650 to pre-register.

Looking for some strategies to improve behavior at home with your children, while connecting with other parents/caregivers from around WNY?

Starting on Thursday, October 22nd, the Clarence FSC, Amherst FSC, and the Williamsville FSC will be co-facilitating the COPE (Community and Parent Education) workshop.

It will be offered virtually on Zoom during the lunch-hour timeframe, from 12pm-1pm every Thursday for 5 weeks.
