Verdigris Children's Connection Verdigris Children's Connection(formally known as CAPE) is a DHS early childhood development center and out-of-school-time program in Verdigris.

Verdigris Children’s Connection (VCC) is a ministry of Verdigris United Methodist Church. We reflect the principles and faith of the church. Our love and care for your children, and our desire to see them mature and grow in to the good plan God has for them, is part of our active Christian faith. We want all we do at VCC to represent God's Love and Joy in your children. Our faith also affirms the

importance of parenting. As a church program, you will notice our program includes symbols and stories of our faith. We believe that an effective program includes age-appropriate activities that teach respect for others, love of neighbors, love of God, and the development of all the gifts God has given each child. We are dedicated to excellence in an environment that is safe, informal, and personal for all that take part. We believe that with the help of God, our program will provide experiences that enrich and enhance each child’s spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental development. VCC works closely with OKDHS in order to keep all requirements met. We are enrolling! We have one spot in our infant room (needs to be an older infant 6 months to 9 months), we have a few spots in our one year old room and a few in our two year old room!
Spots will be available May 26th!
One year old spots may come available sooner as we are expanding that classroom.

Afternoon Infant teacher, toddler teacher and a twos teacher!

Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities
Support social, emotional, and educational development
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment
Communicate effectively with families and staff

Qualifications:
Experience working with children in a childcare or preschool setting preferred
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Positive attitude, patience, and a love for teaching young children
