🎉 BIG NEWS, CLAREMORE ALUMNI! 🎉
First, a big THANK YOU to all of our alumni classes and generous donors who continue to invest in the future of Claremore students!
But today… we have some EXTRA BIG NEWS to celebrate!
🏆 A NEW SCHOLARSHIP RECORD HAS BEEN SET!
Prior to this year, the Class of 1968 held the record for the most money raised for scholarships by a class in a single year. That year $23,000 in scholarships were given out to scholarship recipients during Homecoming 2018.
Then came the Class of 2001.
As they celebrated their 25 year reunion, they set an ambitious goal:
🎯 Raise $25,000 for scholarships!
And we are incredibly proud to announce…
THEY DID IT!🎉
Not only did the Class of 2001 reach their $25,000 goal, but together, ALL of our classes and donors raised an incredible $34,000 for scholarships this year!
And with their $25,000 contribution, the Class of 2001 has officially set a NEW RECORD for the most money raised by a class in a single year for scholarships! With all classes and donors combined we have also set a NEW RECORD for the most money raised for scholarships in a single year. 🏆
But they weren't finished yet…
The Class of 2001 wanted to do something extra special for this year's scholarship recipients.
Each scholarship recipient was surprised at the brunch that they will receive an additional $1,001 scholarship from the Class of 2001!
You might be wondering…Why $1,001? 👀
Because when that additional $1,001 is combined with their original scholarship, each recipient will receive a TOTAL scholarship of $2,001 a special way to represent the Class of 2001!
What an incredible and meaningful way to celebrate a 25 year reunion while investing in the future of another generation of Claremore students. ❤️ Thank you, Class of 2001 for showing everyone how much you still believe in Claremore Public Schools, students and the community!
And let's celebrate ALL of our alumni, classes, and donors who continue this amazing tradition of supporting the next generation.
Together, our alumni are giving a TOTAL OF $26,013 directly to our scholarship recipients this year!
$34,000 raised. $26,013 going directly to recipients. One incredible Claremore alumni family.
Thank you to everyone who made this possible! ❤️
