Starting Science with Teamwork!

Mrs. Hinds' science classes kicked off the school year with a hands-on teamwork challenge! Students worked together using cups and string to put their communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills to the test.

🐾 Parent Reminders South Campus

We have a couple of important reminders to help keep our school day safe and running smoothly:

🍎 Student Lunches: For the safety of our students, staff members are not able to heat or warm up student lunches. Please plan accordingly when packing your child’s lunch and send foods that are ready to eat or can be kept warm in an insulated container.

🚗 Car Line: Please remember to pull forward and close any gaps in the car line. Keeping the line moving and cars close together helps us safely and efficiently get students where they need to go.

There’s no need to order ahead of time. Order forms will be sent home with your child’s picture proofs, so you’ll have a chance to see the photos before placing your order.

Claremore co-op baseball tryouts have had a time change and are this Friday, at 7:15am at the Zebra Dome (building next to the football field). Parents are responsible for getting students to tryouts and practices and the school will be picking them up at the end of tryouts/practices and shuttling them back to JT. 💰 $30 per AM route
$30 per PM route
$60/day for both routes

Good morning, South families! 🐾

We have a couple of important dismissal reminders to help keep our students and staff safe and dismissal running smoothly:

Older Shuttle Students: Parents/guardians waiting for older students arriving on the shuttle should remain in their vehicles. Shuttle students will exit through the back of the building and walk to their waiting vehicle. For safety purposes, students will not be permitted to enter vehicles in the front of the building.

Younger Siblings: If you have arrived and are waiting for an older child on the shuttle, please go ahead and pick up your younger child at their regular dismissal time and have them wait with you. This helps our teachers focus on safely completing dismissal and supervising students who are still awaiting pickup.

It’s time to cheer on our Wildcats!

🥎 **Wildcat Softball** opens the season **Tuesday, August 25 at 4:30 PM** at Pecan Park!

🏃‍♀️🏃 **Wildcat Cross Country** hits the course **Saturday, August 29 at 8:40 AM** at Claremore Sequoyah!

Our athletes have been putting in the work, and we can’t wait to watch them compete, grow, and represent Justus-Tiawah this fall.
