We are halfway to our goal! We have 25 girls sponsored for the upcoming school year with 25 more to go. Our goal is to support 20 students at Felix Convent School and 30 students at Panchsheel Ashram School. Only $100 provides a year's worth of schooling for a deserving girl. Click here to donate:

Today we begin our Student Sponsorship Program for the 2026-2027 School Year!

Our Student Sponsorship Program is the foundational program of Friends of Padhar Schools. We began in 2008 by supporting ten students and have grown to support over 50 girls and young women each year!

Give the gift of education by sponsoring a student for $100 and this includes school fees and tuition, supplies and materials, books and uniforms, and all needed materials for deserving girls and young-women.

Many thanks to all our donors for your support! We have completed our fundraising projects for the 2025-2026 school year and sent a total of $21,600 to India ! This is what your donations have provided:

Our donors supported 50 girls and young women through the Student Sponsorship program.

We supplied books and stationary to both Felix Convent School and Panchsheel Ashram School.

Two water purifiers were installed for the students of Felix Convent School.

Purchase and repair of desks and benches for Felix Convent School.

We provided salary support for the Tailoring teacher at Panchsheel Ashram School, as well as the purchase and repair of sewing machines for the program.

One computer with printer/scanner for the administration of Panchsheel Ashram school.

Purchase of uniforms for the students who cannot afford the uniform fee.

Materials and supplies for the biology and science laboratories for Panchsheel Ashram School and Felix Convent School.

Provided solar panels to Felix Convent School to help cover the cost of electricity.

Many thanks to the people of North Hollywood First United Methodist Church for their support! At their recent Outdoor Christmas Market, they raised $1313 for the children of Friends of Padhar Schools! Pastor Krista Givens made and sold candles, Christmas ornaments from India and Alternative Christmas gifts to neighbors and friends in North Hollywood.
