The Claremont Concert Choir and Treble Singers of the Joint Music Program present their fall concert, EARTH AND MOON, SUN AND STARS, featuring music by Stacey V. Gibbs, Alberto Grau, Hilary Tann, Eric Whitacre, and others. With visiting conductor, David Rentz, and accompanist, Jonathan Johnson.

There will be one evening concert at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 23 to be held in Garrison Theater at the Scripps College Performing Arts Center. Admission is FREE and open to the public.

Orchestra concert this Saturday, April 27, one performance only!

The Claremont Concert Orchestra performs symphonic works by Bottesini, Mozart, and Prokofiev.

There will be one performance only. An evening concert at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 to be held in Garrison Theater at the Scripps College Performing Arts Center.

The program includes a performance by one of the 2023 Concerto Competition winners, bassist Ryan Butler (Harvey Mudd ’24) for the Bottesini Double Bass Concerto No. 2,
plus Mozart’s “Paris” Symphony No. 31, and Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, narrated by Tessie Prakas (Scripps English Faculty).

Admission is FREE and open to the public.
No tickets or reservations required.

The Claremont Concert Choir and Treble Singers of the Joint Music Program together with Harvey Mudd College’s Early Music Ensemble perform music of the European Middle Ages, Renaissance, and Baroque periods with instruments of the time. Works by Hildegard, Machaut, Aleotti, Caccini, Monteverdi, and others.

On Sunday April 21st, 2024, Scripps Music Major Demiana Ibrahim will be giving her Senior Violin Recital in Boone Recital Hall at 2:00 pm. Admission is free and open to the public.
