The Claremont Chorale (CA) has established two scholarships for college-age TENORS (18-28 y.o.).

Please fill out the interest form and submit a recording of your voice for consideration.
I feel compelled to share with you another opportunity to enjoy your favorite artform, and learn from professionals in the industry, especially while we are still waiting for theatres to open up again.

For those interested in classical singing, the Giulio Gari Foundation live streams their ‘Salon Series’ via their official page. This series interviews young international classical singers, both upcoming and well-renowned, to offer audiences an inside look on how they established themselves in the industry.

Next week’s episode will be putting the spotlight on Tenor Errin Duane Brooks.

Brooks most recently made his debut with the Metropolitan Opera as Mingo in their award-winning production of ‘Porgy and Bess’. His credits also include performances with the Teatro Petruzzelli Theatre, and the Michigan Opera Theatre. His episode will premiere on Wednesday, July 21st at 7pm EST, for anyone who may be interested.

I think this is a wonderful way to get an inside look on some of your favorite classical singers. I hope I get to see you there!
Stay tuned for more updates about Scripps Music this summer.
