Save the dates for the first Claremont Concert Orchestra performances of 2026! March 7 & 8.

The Claremont Concert Orchestra's first performances of 2026 are almost here! This spring concert will feature performances by the orchestra and one of the winners of the Fall 2025 student concerto auditions, Helios Hong (Harvey Mudd ’29) as bassoon soloist. The program includes works by Wallingford Riegger, the Mozart Bassoon Concerto, the Shostakovich Festive Overture, and the world premiere of Afterimages, a commission by Chicago-based composer Darlene Castro Ortiz. There will be two performances. An evening concert at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 7 and a Sunday matinee at 2:00 p.m. on March 8.
Concerts will be held in Garrison Theater at the Scripps College Performing Arts Center.
Admission is FREE and open to the public.

Save the dates! The Claremont Concert Orchestra presents their first concerts of the fall 2025 semester next weekend. The program includes Beethoven's "EROICA" Symphony #3 and a performance of Mozart's Ninth Piano Concerto featuring this year's concerto audition finalist, Brayden Chien (CMC '27), on the piano. There will be two concerts; Saturday, October 18 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, October 19 at 2:00 p.m. Both concerts are FREE and open to the public.

The Claremont Concert Orchestra will be performing Bizet’s Carmen Suites Numbers 1 & 2 plus symphonic opera highlights by Mascagni, Puccini, & Verdi this weekend.

There will be two performances. An evening concert at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 3 and a Sunday matinee at 2:00 p.m. on May 4.

Concerts will be held in Garrison Theater at the Scripps College Performing Arts Center. Admission is FREE and open to the public. Come support CCO and the graduating seniors at their final concerts of the Spring 2025 semester. Thank you!

The Claremont Concert Choir combine voices with the Chaffey College Chamber Choir and the Whittier College Choir for their spring concert next weekend. Brian Dehn, Alexandra Grabarchuk, and Charles W. Kamm, directors. Program to include Liebeslieder Waltzes by Brahms and Cantata 4 by J.S. Bach.

The first concert will be on Saturday, April 26 at 7:30 pm, held in Garrison Theater at the Scripps College Performing Arts Center. The choirs will perform the program again on Sunday, April 27 at 3:00 pm, held in Robinson Theater at Whittier College.

Admission is FREE and open to the public.

The Claremont Concert Orchestra perform Mahler's Fourth Symphony featuring soprano, Anna Schubert, this weekend. The concert includes an eclectic work by Javier Álvarez, "Pyramid."

There will be two performances. An evening concert at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 8 and a Sunday matinee at 2:00 p.m. on March 9.
