Scripps Outdoor Wilderness Leaders -OWL. OWL is a club that offers Scripps students non-competitive, fun opportunities to explore the outdoor

OWL leads numerous trips each semester for students at the 5C's of all experience levels. These include hiking and backpacking trips, water-based trips, and weekly trips to Hangar 18, a rock climbing gym located in Upland. We also offer many ways to get involved on campus, including movie nights and open houses. OWL also provides free gear rental to students who have planned a trip, but may be missing a few items. We have a vast selection of items and are always available to answer questions or offer advice.
