IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Effective Friday May 31, 2019 University Toastmasters will be meeting at
Carnegie Building (part of Pomona College)
425 N College Avenue
Claremont, CA 91711

From Indian Hill Blvd, turn east on Fourth Avenue. Building is on southwest corner of Fourth and College. Note that College Avenue doesn't go all the way straight through. So if you're heading DOWN on Indian Hill from Foothill, better to turn east on Fourth Street.

Walk up the stairs and turn right to the classroom.

We had a great Open House on Nov 2. Five guests and 3 signed up to join as new members. Yummy breakfast. Icebreaker speeches from our two newest members.

Come to our next regular meeting on Nov 9. Speakathon on Nov 16. Dark on Nov 23 and back to regular business on Nov 30.

Come visit us this Friday, October 26 for our Speakathon. Speakathons with a theme is a unique feature of our club. Listen as our members speak 5-7 minutes on the following Political Theories.

Then visit us again on Friday November 2. This will be in our regular toastmasters format of two prepared speeches, Table Topics and two peer evaluations. Also a Breakfast Potluck Open House. Happy Holidays! University Toastmasters will not meet December 22nd and 29th. We will resume our meetings on January 5, 2018.

We welcome visitors! If you suffer from Glossophobia ( fear of public speaking) make 2018 the year you tackle that fear. University Toastmasters can help!

A visit from Santa at our holiday party! At University Toastmasters we combine fun with practicing our speaking skills.

No meeting this Friday due to the holiday. We will resume December 1st. Happy Thanksgiving!

VENUE CHANGE FOR THE AUGUST 18TH MEETING. This week's meeting will be held at The McAlister Center at the Claremont Colleges 919 N. Columbia Ave (Corner of 10th & Columbia). It is one block north of Honnold Library.
