On The Loose (OTL), the Outdoors Club of the Claremont Colleges Get outdoors and get reimbursed! Find or make trips on the OTL website, otl.pomona.edu Welcome to On The Loose, the Outdoors Club of the Claremont Colleges!

OTL dispatches student-led trips to destinations across California and the Southwestern states. OTLers like to backpack, climb, car-camp, surf, bike, and lounge on the beach. To these ends, we offer advice to those who are lost, cars to those who need transportation, and a wide-ranging assortment of gear to all students—all for free. We also provide extensive subsidies for our adventures. We welcome students of all ability and comfort levels. We host talks to engage our intellects, classes and training to hone our skills, and get-togethers - "Shindigs" - to see each other’s shining faces. Every week On the Loose is sure to have something to excite you, on campus and off. Whatever your level of experience, we hope to see you soon on trail, in the surf, on the rocks, or in a big comfy couch at one of our Shindigs! Happy trails! OTL Staff

WELCOME BACKKKKKKKKKK BEAUTIFUL OLD AND BEAUTIFUL NEW OTL FOLK!!!!!!! we could not be more excited to be back in the sunshine and ready to hit the trail, the campground, the woods, the river, the babbling brook, the rocks, the dirt, and everything in between!!! get excited. As the Outdoors Club of the 5c’s, we help plan, lead, and fund adventures and excursions for you in Southern California and beyond (dream big!) 🌊☀️🌲🌵⛰️ whether you have spent ample time in the outdoors or have never been camping before - OTL is open for all experience levels and backgrounds! We want YOU (yes, you!) to explore and be out on the loose.

We have returned for a NEWWWWW AND FABULOUS STAPH HIGHLIGHT!!! She is joy she is adventure she is a GEM 💎 ✨ ❇️ ⚡️

dream body of water: clear flowing dippable quiet river maximum sunlight and large flat rocks but also salty ocean
fav animal: bumble bee (insect IK)
Top 5: the sun and all she does, BC ferries, pomegranates on the beach, watercolor doodles, dancing always
Other: currently training in pogo sticking (Find her with the pogo stick at shindig, snowstock, the club fair, and just generally in public)

Maya is the happiest addition to our staph and we are endlessly grateful for her s***k, excitement, adventurous spirit, and epic (we mean EPIC) dance moves. Find her in OTL office hours, at the Pomona Green Bike Program, or on sunset jogs around campus 🌼☀️🍁🌟
