Claremont After-School Programs (CLASP) are an outgrowth of the Claremont Youth Master Plan, developed by the City of Claremont.

This community collaborative coordinates city, school & community organizations to meet the needs of Claremont's youth.

The Claremont Unified School District Board of Education recognized CLASP at its May 15, 2025 meeting. CLASP works closely with district staff to ensure that we meet the academic needs of each student. The Los Angeles region of the Association of California School Administrators honored this work with its “Partners in Educational Excellence Award” earlier this spring. CLASP board members pictured along with CUSD’s Superintendent Dr. James Elsasser and school board members are: Sonja Dominguez, Carol Lee Marshall, Bev Jack, Kathy Archer, Nancy Treser-Osgood, Jack Mills, and Kevin Ward. On Friday, April 25, members of CLASP's Board: Jack Mills, Cristina Antoniolli, Carol-Lee Marshall, and Fiona Wu along with several Claremont Unified School District personnel attended the Association of California School Administrators Region 15 Awards banquet. CLASP received the Partners in Educational Excellence Award for its exemplary partnership with the Claremont Unified School District. What an honor.
