Pomona College’s Department of Theatre, The Draper Center for Community Partnerships, and Garey High School presents Theatre with Young Audiences’ Out From Under!

Thursday, April 25th, 2024 at 11:00am and 7:30pm in the Allen Theatre (300 E. Bonita Ave, Claremont, CA 91711)

——
For 17 years, Pomona College has brought a unique and special Theatre program, Theatre with Young Audiences (TYA), to various schools within the Pomona Unified School District. Since the start of this 2023-2024 school year, TYA has been working with Garey High School and your student has been participating and engaging with this program.
Through this program, Garey students work with Pomona College Professor Rose Portillo and college students from the Claremont Colleges to strengthen their communication and language skills, increase their confidence, and develop a supportive learning community as they prepare to perform a play. This year, their culminating work will be a result in a performance of the play Out from Under, by Rose Portillo, which will be performed at Pomona College.

We are very proud of the work our students are accomplishing and we look forward to sharing their work with you! Please COME and celebrate this accomplishment! Friends and Family welcomed!
