This past spring semester, three students were working in Chem 40 (Introduction to Research) on a series of fluorescent copper(I)-iodide-pyridine clusters. Also, a photo of the fluorescence under a UV lamp at room temperature (yellow blue yellow) and at liquid nitrogen temperatures (blue green-blue purple).
