The Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University is excited to share two significant achievements. Both our Flex (part-time) and full-time MBA programs were recently ranked among the top 10 in Southern California by U.S. News & World Report for 2023-2024, AND we just received a five-year extension of AACSB accreditation.

Both the rankings and reaccreditation reflect the school’s commitment to offering high quality programs and outcomes for its students. In addition to reflecting characteristics of top programs (e.g., related to faculty credentials, research, student success outcomes, and the like), these accomplishments clearly position the Drucker School amongst the best business schools in southern California.

The Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management has received confirmation of its global re-accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The Drucker School joins the company of less than 5 percent of business schools worldwide to earn the prestigious recognition.

Drucker School Dean Dave Sprott remarked, “The alignment between our Drucker Strategic Plan and the association’s focus on societal impact is compelling. A key aspect of Peter Drucker’s philosophy is that business plays a vital role in a functioning society. This humanistic approach to improving the world is at the heart of what we teach at the Drucker School.”

Masatoshi Ito was one of the most successful entrepreneurs in Japan, starting with a single store and turning it into more than 80,000 worldwide. He built his business on hard work, good fortune, and the principles of Peter Drucker, but he didn’t learn those principles in the classroom. He was one of Drucker’s good friends (and yes, that’s his name on the Burkle Building). Mr. Ito passed away on March 10 at the age of 98. CGU honors his legacy: http://ow.ly/JFC050NjhiB
