Dr. Larry Ward (he/him) is a senior Dharma teacher in Thich Nhat Hanh's Plum Village tradition. Dr. Ward brings 25 years of international experience in organizational change and local community renewal to his work as director of the Lotus Institute and as an advisor to the Executive Mind Leadership Institute at the Drucker School of Management

He holds a Ph.D. in Religious Studies with an emphasis on Buddhism and research on the neuroscience of meditation. Dr. Ward is the co-author of Love's Garden: A Guide to Mindful Relationships and author of America's Racial Karma: An Invitation to Heal. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

'We're Perfectly Poised': Drucker School of Management's new Dean David Sprott Sees Advantages and Opportunities Ahead
According to a new report published by the Center for Business & Management of the Arts and the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture, BIPOC arts administrators in entry-level positions earn on average 35% less than their White counterparts.
On average, all entry-level arts administrators in the LA metro area are earning less than a living wage.

On April 26, six Entrepreneurs in Training (EITs) from Defy Tri-State graduated our 14-week Entrepreneurship Bootcamp program! 🙌🥳
They presented their final business pitches to a great group of volunteers AND received Certificates of Entrepreneurship from Drucker School of Management along with Certificates of Completion from Defy.

Defy Ventures and the Drucker School of Management announce a brand new partnership to provide current and formerly incarcerated students with a certificate in entrepreneurship to help them successfully transition back into their communities.
