Join us for August's Leadership Lab Luncheon at Claremont Graduate University's Drucker School of Management with Betty Porto, Co-Owner of Porto's Bakery & Café , as she shares lessons learned from helping lead one of Southern California's most beloved family businesses while honoring its legacy, navigating growth, and leading through change.

August Program Theme: Leading Through Resilience

Every leader experiences moments that test their resolve.

Unexpected change. Difficult decisions. Growth that stretches your capacity. Seasons when the future feels uncertain.

Resilience isn't simply about bouncing back. It's about leading with courage, staying grounded in your values, and helping others move forward—even when the path ahead isn't completely clear.

Following Betty's remarks, she will join a faculty member from the Drucker School of Management for a live conversation exploring leadership, resilience, organizational culture, and the timeless principles of effective leadership.

Featured Speaker
Betty Porto, Co-Owner, Porto's Bakery & Café

For decades, Porto's Bakery has become known for exceptional leadership, culture, and customer experience.

Betty Porto will share personal stories about leadership, resilience, family business, and the values that have guided Porto's through growth, change, and success.

Participants will:
✅ Discover how resilient leaders navigate uncertainty and change.
✅ Learn how values become a guide during difficult decisions.
✅ Explore practical ways to build resilient organizational cultures.
✅ Gain insights into leading a multi-generational family business.
✅ Leave with leadership practices they can immediately apply.
