Hi Sagehens!

As you prepare for finals week and winter break, we want to remind you that we are here for you. If you would like to speak with a Career Advisor about career planning and decision making over the break or when you return, please schedule a one-on-one appointment through Handshake.

Career Services will be open during the winter break. Our office will be closed between December 20th-December 31st and will return to normal operating hours on January 3rd.

Good luck on finals and have a wonderful break!

Occupational Wellness is finding a balance between work (being a student) and your leisure (rest) time that promotes wellness, health, and a feeling or sense of personal satisfaction in your life. For most people it is also financially (or career advancingly) rewarding. The goal is to be able to do exactly what you want to be doing in life and being content with the balance of work and rest is the goal for healthy occupational wellness. The way we view our work, career goals and school directly affect our wellness, so our attitudes are so important in how we approach this aspect of our wellness. Other aspects that tie into our performance includes our interactions with others around us and how we navigate our professional relationships.



There are many ways to enrich your self-care in your occupational/professional area of life. Thinking through the ways that you can focus on wellness in your occupational pursuits is another way to support your ambitions and goals. Check out all of the ways that you can engage in self-care within this domain of your wellness.
