Ecclesia (or Ekklesia) in Christian theology means both: a particular body of faithful people, and the whole body of the faithful.
The Ekklesia club of the Claremont Colleges welcomes students into caring, diverse communities where they can explore the Christian faith in an academic setting with the following activities:
•Fellowship
•Outreach
•Fellowship
•Community Service Latin ecclesia, from Greek ekklesia had an original meaning of "assembly, congregation, council", literally "convocation".
