International and Domestic Programs Office at Pomona College Pomona College offers 63 study abroad programs in 36 countries for its own students.

Approximately 50% of Pomona students study abroad before graduating. To ensure equal access, the College charges the same fees for a semester or year abroad as for a semester or year spent on campus and extends its financial aid awards to cover the time abroad.

Interested in studying abroad in Scotland? Our Pomona Edinburgh Program based at the University of Edinburgh is currently accepting applications for fall 2024! This is a fall-only program that has a deadline of February 11, 2024 for the fall 2024 semester. The Info Session is on Wednesday, January 24 from 4:00-5:00 PM in SCC 208.

Fall 2024 deadlines for study away are coming up fast! Meet with an advisor today to start your application. The first day of drop-in advising will be on Wednesday, January 24 from 9-11 AM and 2:30-4:00 PM. Students need to have already attended an info session or watched our video series (bit.ly/IDPOvideo), passed the quiz on studyabroad.pomona.edu, and filled out the advising form. Meeting with an advisor is required in order to start an application. Our office in is behind Oldenborg Center @ 265 E Bonita Ave.

It's Tuesday, January 23, from 4:00-5:00 p.m. in SCC 208. Attending an info session is the first step in the study away process, before meeting with an advisor and starting an application.

The IDPO will be closed starting at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 22 until Wednesday, January 4, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. Staff will be working remotely on Wednesday, January 3 and will be available via phone and email. Regular office hours will resume on Thursday, January 4. Happy holidays!

Pomona students need to apply for this program through Pomona's International and Domestic Programs Office by 9/17/23 for spring 2024.

The Pomona College Cambridge Program is hosted by Jesus College, one of the 31 colleges of the University of Cambridge. Jesus College, built around a 12th-century convent, incorporates some of the oldest buildings in Cambridge and is located on spacious grounds on the northeast side of the lovely university town of Cambridge, close to the River Cam. This spring-only program has a deadline of September 17, 2023 for the spring 2024 semester.
