We had the pleasure of hosting Dr Habib Sadeghi, DO (COMP ‘00) as he spoke about Learning to Facilitate Freedom From
Limiting Interpretations of Reality. Leading us through a very thought provoking workshop and ending the evening signing copies of his Clarity Cleanse book. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and providing us with such an enriching experience 💜

Did you know that the Pumerantz Library has a Wellness Room (2nd floor)? Some of our COMP students just finished a beautiful mural in the room.
Come check out this relaxing tranquil space. There are yoga mats, a fountain, cozy bean bags and more. Great space to chill and meditate.

Today September 10th is World Su***de Prevention Day. Tonight at 8pm join people across the world by lighting a candle near a window to show your support for su***de prevention, to remember a lost loved one and for survivors of su***de.
By encouraging understanding, reaching in and sharing experiences, we want to give people the confidence to take action. To prevent su***de requires us to become a beacon of light to those in pain. Be the light…
Stay tuned for su***de awareness activities throughout the week.

Today some of our Lifestyle Medicine track students took a deep dive into the power of exercise!
Exercise truly is a powerful form of medicine! Let’s learn about the following initiative:
EIM: The vision of Exercise is Medicine® (EIM), a global health initiative managed by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), is to make physical activity assessment and promotion a standard in clinical care, connecting health care with evidence-based physical activity resources for people everywhere and of all abilities.
EIM encourages physicians and other health care providers to include physical activity when designing treatment plans and to refer patients to evidence-based exercise programs and qualified exercise professionals. EIM is committed to the belief that physical activity promotes optimal health and is integral in the prevention and treatment of many medical conditions.
