It is such a joy to open our church doors to the smiling faces of so many eager 3 and 4 year olds. Mark's Preschool is in its 20th year of nurturing and preparing 3 and 4 year olds for Kindergarten. The 3 year olds come to preschool Tuesday through Thursday and the 4 year olds come Monday through Thursday from 9am - noon. We want to establish a firm foundation as we prepare them f

or Kindergarten in a loving, caring, Christian environment. Mark's Preschool offers a curriculum that will introduce concepts and skills such as social interaction, self esteem, manners, respect for others, and good health habits. The preschool program also works on art projects, music activities, songs, finger plays, story time, Bible stories, computer, calendar time, colors, shapes, numbers, alphabet, and sharing. Other extra curricular activities include: Chapel, Science Center, Art Museum, Risk Watch (safety), Stretch N Grow and field trips. Mark's has a very loving and caring preschool staff. Introducing our new team member, Heather Hartis. We are excited to announce, a new staff member to our St. Mark’s Preschool family. She is no stranger to us. She has been a parent to a St Mark’s preschooler and is familiar with our school. We are so happy to find someone as passionate, kind, and willing to help others. Thank you Dolly for everything you have done for children! ♥️🦋✝️

📚 Remembering Dolly Parton’s beautiful gift to children everywhere: her Imagination Library.
In 1995, Dolly started a simple but powerful program that mails a free, high-quality, age-appropriate book every month to children from birth to age 5 — no cost to families. What began in her home county in Tennessee has grown into an international effort spanning the U.S., Canada, the UK, Australia, and Ireland. To date, it has gifted well over 300 million books, inspiring countless kids to fall in love with reading.
She created it as a tribute to her father, who never learned to read, and often said it was one of the most important things she ever did. Through The Dollywood Foundation and local partners, she’s helped build home libraries and spark imaginations for millions of little ones.
Thank you, Dolly, for putting books into the hands of so many children and for believing that every child deserves the magic of a story. Your legacy of literacy will keep growing, one mailbox at a time. 💙📖
