In four weeks, we'll come together for our 40th reunion and a special treat! Instead of a movie, we'll explore the revamped Ideal theater on a guided tour. Join us for this extraordinary event and reconnect with old classmates in an inspiring setting!

Dear Classmates,

Exciting news! Our 40th class reunion is just around the corner - only 5 weeks away! In preparation, the reunion committee is seeking volunteers to help set up the Doherty House on Saturday at 3 PM. We could use your help with tasks such as adding pictures to the display board, blowing up balloons, and more. If you want to help, please send an email to [email protected].

We also want to take a moment to remember our classmates who are no longer with us. If you know of any classmates who have passed away, please share their names with us in the comments so we can add their photos to the display board and recognize them during the reunion.

And don't forget to bring any school photos you'd like to display on the board! We want to make sure our reunion is a true celebration of our class and all the memories we've shared together.

Attention classmates our 40th class reunion is on September 13th and 14th 2024. This will be a great opportunity to fellowship and reunite with your classmates over the weekend of fun! A room block was established at the Doherty Hotel in Clare to make sure everyone that wants to stay there can, when you call and make your reservation, please be sure to mention you are attending the Class of 1984’s class reunion. 40 years deserves a large celebration with several activities planned, so we planned an event at the Doherty House on Friday night, a movie from 1984 and brunch on Saturday morning at the Ideal Theater, and a dinner at the Doherty Hotel Saturday night. I hope everyone can join in on one or more of the activities planned. The Doherty House is no cost to everyone, and you can bring your beverage of choice, the Movie and Brunch will be 5 dollars to cover the brunch, and we are working out the details for the Dinner as it will depend on the number of classmates attending. To make our 40th reunion an overwhelming success we need your support so if you would like to volunteer your time please contact [email protected].

All Todd Schulz wants a list of classmates that served in the Armed Forces. He came up
with an idea to coordinate planting trees around the school in their honor. This is who I know served: Richard Jackson, Marc Buccilli, Jim Fair, Gary Blow. please add any one else that you know of in the comments.

We are asking for all of you to suggest a date for a get together next year. Also we are looking for suggestions for the 40th. One idea is to book cabins at Houghton Lake for the weekend. Classmates could bring campers as well. If we decide to do something bigger for the 40th we need to start plan it soon. Another suggestions for the 50th is to book a cruse or a train trip. Please post suggestions in the comments.
