We have a busy month ahead, MACCRAY FFA members! As we get ready for the start of the school year, don’t forget to stop by our table at Open House to sign up for FFA! Students in grades 9–12 should also be sure to pay their membership fee. If you have questions we’ll be having our kick off meeting on Monday, August 31, and we’d love to help you get started! Here’s where you can help us: Barn: from 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.Pork Chop Feed: Saturday starting at 3:00 p.m. Project Entry Day will be Tuesday, August 4th from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Bring a project to showcase your talents and represent MACCRAY FFA! It’s County Fair season, and we need your help at the Chippewa fair! MACCRAY FFA members have the opportunity to volunteer at the Corn Feed and in the FFA Building throughout the week. If you’re available to lend a hand, we’d love to have you! Our trip to Ireland was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we couldn’t be more grateful! This incredible opportunity wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing support of our community, families, and everyone who encouraged us along the way. Thank you for helping make this unforgettable journey a reality. We made memories that will last a lifetime, learned so much, and are incredibly thankful for everyone who helped us get there. From all of us at MACCRAY FFA—thank you!

Officer Retreat Recap! The past two days have been filled with planning, team building, and plenty of fun! Our officer team spent time getting to know each other better while setting goals and sharing our hopes for the year ahead. We kicked off Sunday with planning sessions before enjoying an evening of swimming, games, and time together at the cabin. On Monday morning, we wrapped up our calendars, headed back out on the lake for one last swim, and celebrated a successful retreat with some Dairy Queen! A huge thank you to the Bosch family for generously letting us use their cabin for the second year in a row. We truly appreciate your hospitality and support! We’re excited for everything this year has in store.

Prairie Fest weekend is here, and you know what that means… it’s time for MACCRAY FFA’s 2nd Annual Pork Chop on a Stick Stand! Starting at 12:00 PM on Saturday, we’ll be serving up delicious pork chops on the corner by the Rib Fest tents in the park. We have 800 pork chops, and once they’re gone, they’re gone! Stop by, grab a meal, and help support MACCRAY FFA. We can’t wait to see you there!
